Hi Y'all
It's been a rough week......
I've been dealing with some "Copy kitty's" nearby
Hear me out for once:
Life isn't about taking credit for what someone else has done, it's about creating and making new things that are produced by you. I've been a copy kitty sometimes and to be honest.....I STILL AM :(

But what matters is that we all have done mistakes in our past....
Don't you think it's time to change those and move on...?
Maybe I'm just in a really serious mood today but seriously.....I've seen enough hurt looks on peoples faces to see when someone has taken all the credit for what they've done. Just think about it........
OK, WELL TODAY IS NOT THE "BEST" DAY FOR ME BECAUSE........
I'M LIVING MY LIFE IN A DIFFERENT AGE :(
BUT NOW I AM GOING TO ADAPT? TO THIS NEW AGE IN TIME :)

Okie Dokie!
Well.....Today's topic is about......
FAMOUS ARTISTS!
And I'm choosing............

James Abbott McNeill Whistler

He was the artist of WHISTLERS MOTHER!

So I chose him because...

1. His paintings are unique and cool!
2. One of his famous pieces of art is in a Mr Bean movie :)
3. I LOVE WHAT HE DOES!!

OK! Now I'm going to tell you some things about Mr Whistler:

• Born July 11, 1834
• He was born in America but spent his early years in Russia and London.
• He moved back to America once his father died of Cholera
• As a young boy ,Whistler was very keen on art. His drawings started to develop into more special and creative things.
• Once again, Whistler moved back to London! Let me just say but from what I've read so far....Whistler has traveled A LOT!
• Anyways....He got this red head lady to model for him and she traveled with him for 7 years!
• Whistler believed that art should be judged for it's own sake not for a moral tale.
• He painted a picture of his mother...
  OK! So I found this quote that's really cool and I'd like to share it with y'all!

  Back to reality....
  So I'm going to now discuss my favorite pictures that Mr Whistler has created in his time:)

  

  Now...This is a VERY famous painting of Whistlers mother. What I really like about this painting is that Whistler has put SO MUCH fine detail that I would NEVER probably do! I mean look at that curtain! He's put some sort of floral pattern across it that slowly fades to the top. It's a lovely piece of art that's just amazing! Of course there are other variations of this painting done by photo shop people.....

  
  

 

This piece of art work is just flawless! Even though there are only a limited amount of colors used, it's just wonderful. What really catches my eye with this piece of art is that everything is just so clear to see and it has a real rustic effect. And I LOVE rustic! The man in the painting just gives it more oomph and some life. The lights on in the windows look so real! I congratulate whistler on this one!

So last week I was a pigeon and this week it's going to be.....
IF I WERE A TEACHER!
Of course I would NEVER have the patience to deal with kids but *gulp* here it goes............

Day 2:
Dear Diary
My hands are trembling as I write this......
I don't know how longer 
I CAN TAKE IT ANY LONGER!
They all talk in the same tones and sit down in the same ways....
They never talk very much-which makes me wonder what they ARE!?
They all get the same scores in tests and look at me in a strange unfathomable way. It creeps me out....I wish they were more......active and lively....ALLEGRO? I swear I'm going crazy.....

Day 7:
DEAR DIARY!
I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID!
THE KIDS HAVE GONE OUT OF HAND!
Whenever I turn my back to them-I feel something pang at the back of my head. A paper ball..? I pick it up and unravel it and find one word written on it...
PRANKED
Then I feel a weird texture beneath my finger. I see a kid having a feast up his nose. I slowly lift my finger off to reveal a.......UGH I CAN'T SAY IT!

Day 15:
Dear Diary
PHEW! I have managed to settle this class down by using some treats!
Believe it or not..IT WORKS! Although there are some side effects of craziness and sugar rushes...BUT APART FROM THAT IT WORKS!

My class has finally settled down and I think I like them now!
After giving them their treats they act diligent and well. Then I take them all out for a walk outside to burn off the energy! I swear they're better than my dogs at home! I've got to go now diary! There's a kid licking my foot....probably needs another snack :)

OK, well I will be talking to y'all about the SPORTS FEST!
I am SO excited about going there and playing BADMINTON!!!!
To be honest though......I don't actually know the rules to the game.....?

I mean sure I know how to HIT the shuttle cock but I have no idea how the game is really played? Anyways.....I'm looking forward to having a good time and just having some really good fun!

Well....
To help my team to enjoy the day is basically not be a bossy person and to be a good sport. Also I will encourage them and tell them some funny stories to help lighten up the mood!

So I will be back on Wednesday for a recap of WHAT HAPPENED!!! Finger crossed that I don't make a fool of myself and play the game well

So the badminton thingy....
It was good....
And we came 7th in ranking...!
Of course there were only 7 teams....
And of course Raroa came first because they're SO naturally talented. 




Pfff....
I mean what can I say!?

Me after 2 hours

Yea I had a good time and so did my team but I'm just super tired and dehydrated :(
 Oh yea - haha I just remembered something!
So we were playing a warm up game which is kinda hard to explain....BUT ANYWAYS......I was going to hit the shuttle cock but instead I ACCIDENTALLY SMASHED MY RACKET INTO THIS BOYS FACE- Erm here's what happened...

*Moves around to hit shuttle cock*
Me: I'm gonna get this!
WHACK!
*Boy clutches face*
Me: OMG, OMG, OMG! I'M SO SORRY! I'M SUPER SORRY!
Boy: * Still clutches face* Umm it's ok
*The room erupts with "OOOS!"
*I feel my face heat up*
Me: Dude like seriously SORRY!
Boy: Ugh, ITS FINE! 
  Yea....
I was kinda expecting him to cry or something but he was good and just shook it off. Gee I feel sorry for that kid....
Oh and in the game I was up against the BEST KID in the room who just SMASHED the shuttle cock over the racket and I said out loud "DUDE? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET THAT!" And then I saw a few people sneering. I was guttered that I nearly cried. My voice was on the verge of tears.
This is what it sounded like:

 "B-but th-that's not f-fair!"
I should really toughen up!

We all get nervous.........

OK well a massive thanks to my team for being there and supporting me and thank you to Claire for teaching me how to play! And a massive big thanks to ALL the teachers (especially Miss Higgins) that organized this! 

One more thing before we go.....
I forgot to mention - At the beginning of each game I would just get really nervous and dizzy and not be able to hit....I think that's what let my team down...I let the nerves get the best of me.


 Pff! 

I posted this a few minutes ago then realized that I hadn't answered the questions! Ok so i think that the sport organizers did an AMAZING JOB! So hats off to them. Umm...lets make this short-Next time there should be more practices for badminton - especially if you're like me and don't know how to play. But overall that's the only thing! Good job to y'all that played the other sports!

 

So I haven't watched any recent movies except for Cinderella (The human version) but I already kinda reviewed that a few weeks ago. So I guess that I'm going to make up yet ANOTHER thing to go on this blog. Now, If you're wondering…I'm NOT going to do book reviews because I don't want to copy peoples Ideas - because no one likes a "copy kitty"

 Day 13:
Dear Diary,
Today was AWFUL!
Some mean, tall and weird looking creatures called me a "Flying rat"
I was horribly offended. Therefore I made my way to them and BRRRED.

She doesn't like it when you call pigeons "Flying rats!"

I truly feel sorry for these tall unearthly creatures. They mustn't have many friends if they tease so much. 

My fellow pigeon friends and I gathered up for lunch - bread.
We are very lucky that Miss Pigeon lady throws food on the ground for us.
It's quite delicious! But she isn't looking to well....She's been wearing the same clothes for months now and always coughs. I wonder If she is ill?

 
 Day 18:
Dear Diary
I know what these tall creatures are called!
They seem to be named "Humans"
The name is worse than "Flying rats!"
Today I will be attending the funeral of Miss Pigeon lady.
The humans have even made a statue dedicated to her :(

Once the funeral ended a human came up to me.
I felt afraid and scared, not knowing what she would do .
But this human did not harm me - nor call me a horrid name.
Instead, she lay down a few sprinkles of pigeon seed and walked away.
I looked at her clothes that she was wearing. 
And on the back of these clothes was the name "Katie"


One important message that I'm trying to get through this diary entry is that NO ONE should call people horrid names in which they are not.

Saying that a pigeon is a "Flying rat" Is not true. I mean...sure they carry diseases like rats but that DOES not mean people have the right to go and call them that!

Ok so my top four choices are.....

This one first because I like the colors....

This one SECOND because of that beautiful fern....

WELL this one 3rd because look how pretty that is?

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...this one because it's the closest to the old flag that y'all will get :)

 








So out of all these 
beautiful options 
My vote would have to be number ONE!!!
I choose this because of the beautiful colors used! I mean...I'm not a fan of bright colors so something mediocre (I USED A VOCAB WORD!) like this is nice and sweet :)
Also it doesn't scream "I'M OUTSTANDING!" which makes it a nice choice!

I mean don't judge that I'm just a person that chooses a flag with  "** Shades of grey" on it.

 So MY OPINION about this whole flag concept is.....
DON'T CHANGE THE FLAG! It's fine how it is :)
So here is my reasoning:
A: Well I've grown up to live with this flag....
B: Why change it when it's already beautiful?
C: Our country should be PROUD of this flag and stick with it.
D: People aren't going to choose NZ as a holiday destination just because of this new flag... 
E: Well we should be proud of out flag even though it looks the same as the Aussie's

Even Mr bean is sad :(

D: This New Zealand flag we have currently is a part of NZ and has been for over  A LOT of years. It's just sad to see it change when I've grown up with it :(

If you take the New Zealand flag away from us...It's like ripping out a part out of my heritage and replacing it with a new unknown one. I'm proud to be in this country and living in it....And that flag is a part of our country that symbolizes world peace and our Kiwiness. 
So people of New Zealand....Think about what your doing...

ITS TIME FOR...... MOVIE TALK TIME (MTT)......

So today's movie shall be....
INSIDE OUT!!
Lots of people kept on saying "Awhh you haven't seen it?" and "It's SOOO good!"
So I had no choice but to see it.
So last week I was sick and dad set up the movie. It was a really great movie but as some people said in class.....
Some little kids may not understand the concept of it because it was quite confusing...
One minute they were in the kids brain and the next they were in some weird land with these memory things in colored balls. And then they met this dude who was STEALING THEM who happened to be this kid's "Imaginary friend"

Now....
If I was in Joy and sadness's position I would've told this imaginary friend to LET GO OF THE MEMORIES AND PUT HIS HANDS IN THE AIR!? But do you know what they did instead....They didn't tell him off and let him direct the way out of the confusing memory lane. So I liked the movie overall but I didn't get to see the ending because I was SO TIRED.... that I kind of fell asleep to the sad music when the kid is leaving her home. So yea! The best part of the movie was that music....I literally fell asleep to it...No kidding.
