$GET WISE$ <>ASB<>

It's not about the money, money, money
We don't need your money, money, money
We just wanna make the world dance,
Forget about the price tag........

OH, HEY EVERYONE! YOU ALL PROBABLY KNOW THAT SONG FROM SOMEWHERE..... I KINDA THOUGHT IT WOULD FIT INTO THIS ASB THEME THING! SO THIS MAN CAME IN TO TALK TO US ABOUT SAVING OUR MONEY AND COOL DIFFERENT JOBS AND WAYS OF HOW TO MAKE IT...... READ ON IF YOU WANT TO HEAR SOME MORE....

I actually feel really bad now that I don't remember who this guy was called so lets just call him hmmm... "THE GUY" that sounds pretty mysterious doesn't it! "THE GUY" was absolutely HILARIOUS and talk about all this money stuff in a very smart, yet funny way. How does he do it! (sigh)

I thought the lesson was defiantly worth my time and its taught me some valuable key points about money in life. Some of the main key points about money is that:
  • You have to earn it.
  • Money comes with a price.
  • You have to work for it.
  • Its very valuable.
  • Don't go spending it on useless, unwanted junk.
Some financial goals are to basically save up for a house, car and to get a good job that's actually worth my time and is going to make me happy. I don't know about all of you, but I really want to be a doctor. Mainly this is because when I was younger and was sitting on a couch at my grandparents house, my grandma sat down and told me that when I grow up she wants me to become a doctor so I can heal her. It was actually quite sad and depressing at the time but I was just a young kid then so I didn't know any better. WOW I ACTUALLY REMEMBERED ABOUT THAT!

SORRY! I'm off topic again (wow I'm really good at doing that!). ANYWAY..... I think that I manage my money pretty well but "apparently" I don't according to "THE GUY" because if you squeeze your hands together in a rock sort of pose thingy (SORRY ITS REALLY HARD TO EXPLAIN) and I think if your left thumb is over your right thumb it means that your not going to manage your money well. How sad it that!? APRIL FOOLS! Wait, its not even April. Good one Kat, haha very funny.... not...... What I said before about the thumb thing isn't actually true. "THE GUY" did the thumb thing with us and I actually believed what he meant! I'M SO GULLIBLE!

What I could do to improve my money managing in the future is to store it all in a bank and save and not buy junk that I don't need. That's what my mum always says to me in a shop. When I was younger and saw something I like a toy I would literally go down on my knees and plead her to get it. She would just say "NO THAT IS JUNK AND IS WORTHLESS!" then I would cry and walk really slow so she would have to wait for me and get really angry. I was such a mean kid back then to my mum.... I DIDN'T EVEN BUY HER A MOTHERS DAY GIFT! All I did for mothers day was bring Kitty up to her room with a white rose and said in my kitty voice "Will you accept this rose?"

Poor mum had to do all the washing and dishes on mothers day and clean up after my science fair stuff. Its her birthday on Sunday and I haven't even made a card or gotten her anything. But mum does want this perfume and she asked dad and he was like "GO BUY IT YOURSELF" which was quite mean. I guess I don't exactly have the perfect family but they're nice <> <> <> <> haha!

Bye for now and please comment below and tell me what you did for mothers day! Oh and did any of you watch the "after the rose ceremony" on the bachelor?
P.S SORRY FOR THE LONG POST!

"Its the most, wonderful time the year"..... MISSION FAIR:)!

HELLO FELLOW READERS!
OK THAT JUST SOUNDS KINDA WEIRD....sorry :(

ANYWAY, ON FRIDAY IT WAS THE 1st OF MAY! OH AND IT WAS ALSO MISSION FAIR, NO BIG DEAL.......SORRY, BACK ONTO SUBJECT.

This year Sarah and I decided to something together for mission fair. But we needed more people. unfortunately no one wanted to join us which made us upset. BUT THEN A LITTLE FAIRY CALLED SYLVIA CAME ALONG AND CAME INTO OUR GROUP!!! Thanks so much Sylvia, we couldn't have done it with out you

A few years ago, my sister did a thing called bowl a can for her stall and it was very successful. SO..... I decided to do what she did! We also sold Fudge, cupcakes and a raffle which caoimhe WON! Our stall was successful and we managed to make quite a bit of cash. BUT.... SADLY WE DONT KNOW OW MUCH WE ACTUALLY MADE because a teacher (who shall not be named)kept on taking our notes so we don't know what our stall made. Haha, this reminds me of harry potter, "he who must not be named, lol."

There was a HUGE cue for the bowl a can game and nearly ALL the fudge sold out! The only bad things that happened in our stall was that Sarah and Sylvia both went on their brake at the same time which left ME all alone with a bunch of little kids moaning and groaning at me. It was MANIA!!! My job was to stack the cans, and stack them again, and again, and again (you get the idea). If I were to do mission fair differently next time I would probably do some sort of timetable for our break times so NO ONE IS LEFT ALONE BY THEM SELVES.

would just like to say a big thanks to Sylvia and Sarah for being part of the stall pr and working hard as a team. Some random things I would like to add is that please go on youtube and watch ED SHEERAN SINGS TO CATS!!!!! ITS SOOOOOO CUTE!!!!  press the link below.......

Ok im going to copy Ellen DeGeneres and say "Be kind to one another!"

The day we remember the war....... ANZAC day

Welcome back everyone from your holidays!
Its been a while since I've last learnt about WW1 but thank you to Miss Bolger for teaching me more about it. I feel kind of bad about not doing anything for ANZAC day........ I guess its because none of my family went to WW1. But I will talk about what I did do later . . . . .

Some really informative things that I have learnt about the war was that the Germans (CURSE THEM!!!) were the enemy. OK I know that all of you are probably thinking "WHAT SHE DIDNT KNOW THAT!?" but believe or not ITS TRUE. I also learnt that the ANZACS landed on the wrong island to fight and lots of them died immediately when they first landed. One thing that really surprised me was that apparently in May during the war, they had like a 8 hour interval or something to bury the dead. During those hours, there was no fighting and my mum told me that the ANZACS even talked to the enemy and traded rations and cigars with them. I actually laughed when mum told me this but then I reminded myself of how cruel the war was......
As I said in the beginning, unfortunately I didn't attend any ANZAC day events which makes me feel extremely bad. BUT I CAN SAY THIS..... I WATCHED THE LIGHT SHOW ON MY PIANO TEACHERS PHONE!!! AND IT WAS REALLY COOL! So in a way I sort of celebrated by watching a video on my piano teachers phone. That reminds me, phones weren't even invented in the 1900's. That makes me feel even more guilty....

I think that it is an 100% great idea to commemorate these type of events because its really nice and thoughtful to remember those poor, innocent and young people that fought to protect out country. Its quite sad to think of how lots of men died in this war and how mothers and children were sad that their brothers, uncles or fathers died.

I hope that everyone feels the way I do about this. And I hope that maybe one, just One of the people that is reading this is thinking "Your not the only one...."
Thanks so much to everyone reading this!
I hope you all liked this long and hopefully informative post!

im kinda bored . . . . . .

OK This is weird that I'm posting something that's not on the task sheet . . . . . . .  BUT I'M SUPER BORED AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO!!!

I GUESS I'LL JUST TALK ABOUT MY EASTER XD!!

I'm different I guess you could say. My religion has Easter after the week of English Easter which is pretty weird. Instead of yummy chocolate Easter eggs you just receive a plain old boring boiled egg covered in red dye. How exciting (yawn). SO I had to go to Greek church on Friday night from 7pm to 9:30pm and all it was were PEOPLE SINGING GREEK SONGS. I tried my best to keep my eyes open for most of it because it was not that interesting. The Greek "choir" (as they claim to be)   were kind of terrible singers in a way. It was a bunch of ladies in their late 70's that sung Greek, church songs but they just could not reach the bottom notes which made Anastasia (my sister) sort of laugh.

The Greek priest randomly dragged my sister and I up the front of the whole entire church to throw flowers around this decorated coffin thing. As we were waiting for his signal to start throwing the flowers, the priest just started cracking his knuckles. I was thinking "WHAT KIND OF A PRIEST CRACKS HIS KNUCKLES IN FRONT OF THE WHOLE CHURCH??". When my sister noticed him doing it she tried so hard not to laugh. By the time he finished cracking his knuckles, my sisters face was all red from the secret laughing (hehe!). I told my dad about what the priest was doing in church and dad said sarcastically, "Maybe he's a COOL priest, eh?"

Saturday was different. We just went in the morning for an hour and a bit then left.
SO MY EASTER WAS PRETTY GOOD! I ended up receiving three Easter eggs in the end and a candle! Remember how I said at the beginning how we don't actually get proper Easter eggs . . . . . .   WELL WE SORT OF DO but the red eggs our the main thing for Greek easter. I ate one yesterday and it was surprisingly good :).

I don't even know if anyone has bothered to go onto the blog and read this post so please if you have read this then write a post on your blogs so i can read them!!! Tell me how your Easters went??
