Let's just say I have a new obsession with these emoticon things.
Okay... at the end of my post I have something new...

Just curious but why do lots of people have the Nyon cat at their profile pic now?

So..my new favorite thing?
Honestly I have no idea.
There's no TV show...
No really a book series (Well maybe a few)
But I guess there is one thing....

Okay so I have an absolute new obsession which is Coraline.
And I don't know why? I mean...I guess it's cause I love the book and movie :)
Believe me on this....But I have seen the movie over 30 times but only read the book once....
But I'm going to get it out of the library REALLY SOON!

I mean....

STOP MOTION

I've had this obsession with it for a while but I started getting more hyper when the movie came on TV a few weeks ago. Then I started getting the songs stuck in my head, I started to try learn them on the piano, I watched a million videos on you tube of the "Behind the scenes" and I even made my own fan fiction about it. What really intrigued me was how Neil Gaiman thought of the whole idea and it's just AMAZING how the whole movie is STOP MOTION!

The stop motion animation!!!! SO AMAZING

They said on you tube that apparently it took a whole day to film 7 seconds of the movie. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE
Laika took 25 hours to make 7 seconds of my enjoyment! 
Oh and also:
It took 300 face expressions to make 3 seconds of Coraline talking.
I guess I'll tell you some stuff about the plot then....

Once upon a time....
Oh who am I kiddin'?
There's a girl called Coraline that moves in with her family to "The pink palace" apartments.
She is so bored and lonely until she finds a secret little door.....But when she opens the door it's all blocked up. But at night....It opens to a whole new world.

This new world is exactly like her own one...only...her parents have button eyes and the food, people and entertainment is much better. But Coraline thinks it's all a dream. She doesn't know what trouble she's getting herself into. People warn her that danger will come through the little door but she ignores them. 

I think on her 3rd time entering the door.....
Her other mother with button eyes asks her if she wants to live in the other world forever.
Coraline says yes...until the other mother says there is one thing that she needs to do. She must sew buttons in her eyes to be able to live in the other world. But Coraline doesn't want that. She starts to get scared of her other mother and father with button eyes and tries to escape them.....

Did I mention-The other mother has 3 forms? CREEPY

Then it just gets EVEN MORE INTENSE...
The adventure piles up like 3/4 of the way into the movie.
Any ways....I love it but it gave me nightmares when I first watched it like 6 years ago...?
-Speaking of nightmares....Last night I didn't get to sleep until 12:40 because I had the Coraline theme song STUCK IN MY HEAD and also....my mind was making me feel so QUEASY!!! It's hard to explain...

*Shudders* FREAKY!

Oh yea forgot to mention. The other mother makes a doll for Coraline that she spies through to see whats making Coraline's life BAD. CREEPY!

Okay, so I have this new thing that probably all of you must be familiar with by now. And yes....I have kind of copied it from a YouTube channel called "Smosh"

The over protected family: 

My sister does this to mum

Yes, this is my family. The don't let me go out alone, are extremely protective and won't let my sister go out with her friends or go to school prom's etc....

The *Tries to be cool* family:
This is the family which kind of try impress friends and think they're being cool and stuff but really -_- they're just embarrassing themselves.

The *I don't care what you do, just get out of my sight* family:
Yea...this is the family that don't care what you d, they just want you to stay out of their way. Sort of like...I bet you if you asked
 "Hey so dad, there's like this party that has alcohol...."
"You can go son."

The party my sister can never go to....

"Thanks dad! You're the best."
Like seriously. I know some of my sisters friends who have parents like this...
I'd say "No son of mine is..blah blah etc"


The *I can't let you grow up!* family:
This kind of relates to my mum. Its all like "Oh my darling, I don't want you to grow up yet!"
And well face it...it's life. Sorta like my grandpa's just like
 "Wanna go to the park and feed the ducks?" and I'm like
"Uh no" (Cause I kinda don't want to go to the park and feed ducks with my grandpa who has really awkward pauses and silences.....) anyway he says..
"But you used to love doing that when you were younger!"
"Grandpa *puts hand on shoulder* I'm not YOUNG ANYMORE!"
 

Last one....

The *Bring your new friend home so we can see!* family:
Now this is weird right? I mean I see this in movies and I'm literally LOL but it can be awkward. Basically you bring home a friend and the parents are all like feeding you so much stuff and asking you really weird questions and they act like they're trying to be YOUR FRIEND!? Ugh....my mum has done this in the past A LOT!

Okay!
I mean, the Every (*Blank*) Ever thing is better if you watch it on YouTube but eh...it was time for a new blog change. I'll probably get bored of this sometime and move on or something....Anyways....Tell me which one of these parents are yours? If they aren't any of these...just tell me what they are.

My two DREAM JOBS ☆*･゜ﾟ･*\(^O^)/*･゜ﾟ･*☆

Hi y'all!
So I think that this weekend was the BEST weekend I've had in forever. And no, it's not because of the school fair (Which was very successful :) But it's because of this AMAZING book that has made it's way to my #2 favorite on the charts. Now, I don't think I'll go into detail about it but here is a quick summary.

Its about a man named Lincoln who works in this office. Every night he has to check peoples emails who have used bad language in them. He stumbles across a conversation between two woman named Beth and Jennifer and he starts to get interested in what they're talking about. Soon he realizes that he's falling for one of them....deeply and little does he know that that person that he likes is working with him and she likes him too! So yea! If you like a sweet, short romance then give this one a go.

 I remember starting it off thinking "Oh gosh this is gonna drag on and on...." and it did but it was A GOOD drag on :) Man I loved seeing Lincoln trying to figure out who his "Mystery girl" was. Btw, this is Rainbow Rowell's FIRST novel and she's written a few others that are ALSO MY FAVORITES. So for Christmas when the presents (Aka, mostly book vouchers) start flowing in....I'm seriosuly gonna buy ALL HER BOOKS.
Sorry the book Crescendo that I was about to buy...:(


So today I shall be talking a bit about my "DREAM JOB!"

 
I have two choices:
1. Accountant :)
2. Movie Director :)

The reason why these two appeal two me is because my mother is an accountant and it's a useful thing to know. I want to be a movie director because at home my sister and I LOVE making movie trailers and editing them on I-movie and also......MAKING MOVIES ARE SO FUN!!!!!! I mean I don't wanna be an actress but more a movie director cause it seems so fun!

Ok so If I were to take subjects for Directing my choices would be:
1. Photography 
2. Journalism
3. Animation and programming!!!!!
4. Also there is this one subject that you can choose in year 10 or 11....I think?
5. Digital technology  

And for accounting:
1. Accounting (duh)

2. Managing money
3. Maths

It's really stressful to choose subjects. Like since my sister is going into NCEA next year, her and mum were stressing over what she was going to choose. And there is me, who no one cares what I choose even though I'M THE ONE STARTING A NEW LIFE IN COLLEGE!! She gets ALL the attention.

Sorry moving on....
Things that I could do outside of school to help my future job are:
Make more fun movies to help improve directing skills.
Maybe join a club at college to do with camera things.
 Possibly join a math club.....
And that's it :)


So, I have decided that at the end of my post for maybe 1 or 2 weeks I will continue with some of my FLASH BACK MOMENTS. And then the week after this week (gosh confusing) I will have something BRAND NEW! I already know what I'm gonna do but I'm not doing it this week because I've fallen behind on my "To do list" (Not tasks if you're wondering).

 Ok I think this one might be a bit short BUT I have a picture that I made to go with it ;)
So......

This was a few weeks ago. As some of you know I like to draw on pictures. Especially cat pictures! My sister and I have competitions to see who's drawings are better (She always wins!!!!!) So with my "amazing" photography skills, I actually took this really cool picture with kitty sticking her tongue out like MILEY CYRUS! Hehe.....my sister made this drawing of her as miley which looks AMAZING but it might not be appropriate....but trust me, if you saw it you'd 'Roll On The Floor Laughing'. Rotfl? That's not right....

Anyways...
So with this kitty Miley Cyrus tongue picture I made it into kitty eating Doritos with an Illuminati somewhere on her..? So I showed dad and he was like....

Dad: Hahaha, the poor cat! What have you done to her?

DORITO KITTY!!!

Me: Shes a dorito dad!
Dad: Yes, I can see that.
Me: Do you see the Illuminati on her?
Dad: What in the world is an Illuminati? 
Me: It's a triangle with an eye in it....
Dad: Echl....  *Dad walks away to bathroom*

But SERIOUSLY! If you heard what dad said at the end that "Elch" You'd be Rolling On The Floor....yea whatever
I don't really know how to pronounce how he said it but it was like '

Today I shall be SHARING my LAST DAY OF THE HOLIDAYS!!!!
Personally, this was my favorite day :)

Me: *I wake up in the morning feelin'......snazzy...*.
Anastasia: I'm super super BORED
Me: Should we ask mum if we can get that badminton set?
Anastasia: YAAAA
Me: Kewl.....

So yea! On the last day mum bought  A BADMINTON SET!
If y'all are probably thinkin' "Ugh....this post is so BORING" than I suggest you should....ya know.....leave? 
Okay continuing....
So we went to the warehouse and saw the sport section!

Where everyone gets a bargain...pff yea right

Anastasia: UGH, MUUUUMMMM I CAN'T FIND IT!
Mum: *Is in section holding weights/ working out* Oh darling we'll find it!
Me: *Looks around more*
Anastasia: *Squeals* IT'S HERE!

So.....we ended up buying this really "cheap" set that cost us 40 BUCKS!?
And it was a waste of our moolah....aka money 
So stace and I set it up in our backyard....actually it was more like I WAS SEETING IT UP WHILE SHE SAT ON HER BOTTOM AND LICKED HER POPSICLE!!!! Anastasia is you are ever going to read this....Please know that I am not your slave :(

And we started playing and....
Anastasia: *Says in a whiny voice* It's too windddyyyy!
Me: Deal with it
Anastasia: UGH, this was a waste of money mum!
Dad: How about I set it up in the garage, therefore no wind!
Anastasia and me: *Shrug* Okay!

So dad did all the hard labouring by taking the cars out of the garage and setting up our set!
And we played until.....

Anastasia: DAAADDD!
Dad: What now!?
Anastasia: The ceiling isn't high enough! The shuttle cock keeps on hitting it!
Me: DEAL WITH IT!
Anastasia: *Moans on and on and ON*
Dad: *Closes door and leaves us to our problems*

So we continued playing then started talking about our weird dreams.....
Anastasia: So...yea I had a dream about...
Me:...?
Anastasia: I got married....
Me: WHAT TH........
Anastasia: NO MORE DETAILS...
Me: So whos the lucky guy...Jk

And I'm not gonna reveal anymore cause this dude isn't someone you know :)
And hes not great either..hehehehehehe

VINES!!!!

So we kept on playing for an hour until we both got a bit dehydrated....
I mean I don't know why I chose this day cause It wasn't exactly amazing.
But I guess I had fun catching up with the gossip with stace :)
She had ALOT of funny to say and we especially loved to talk about hilarious vines :)
